I wasn’t going to post today, because I have been absolutely burning the candle both ends to get ready for my show and frankly I need a break. Also, one of today’s prompts is MONOCHROME and I thought, ‘Nah, that ain’t me baby!’ But then I walked into my bathroom and saw the beautiful blush pink monochrome of the wall I never show on here - because it’s monochrome 😂 . . Originally, I was going to paint the zigzags on every wall of the bathroom, but fairly quickly I realised that was going to take me days and days. Now if I owned this flat, I would absolutely make the effort to do it because it would look fabulous, but since it’s a rental I took a pragmatic view that I get all the joy and nourishment I need from seeing that zig zag wall as I come in and you know, there are things I need to give my energy and attention to more than more zig zags! . .
