BOY’S BEDROOM MAKEOVER - SNEAK PEAK! . My boy will be 13 in May and his was the only room in the flat that I hadn’t decorated (apart from the loo!). His brief to me was: NO MURALS, NO ZIG ZAGS. Just plain colour - and he wanted purple and green. Errrrm ... ok! 😂 . . So I selected a very carefully curated, limited range of purples and greens and let him choose which he liked best. This is the result! Or at least a little corner of the result, as I haven’t finished the whole room yet. Interestingly this is actually in the same range of colours as the rest of the flat, but just more complicated moodier versions of them (rather like my son! 😂). I’ve reused his old white nursery furniture and painted it (bed and desk in this shot), but it completely transforms them and the room into a much more sophisticated space. . . The walls are in Deep Water Green, the same as my bedroom (left over paint!). It’s such a beautiful alive colour. Together with richer greens and blues, you really do get...
