It all started going a bit Charleston in our flat last night, as I decided that we needed a big bold pattern to sit right in the middle of it, connecting all the rooms. So, I’ve started hand painting a mural on the wall by the internal stairs going up to the kids’ rooms! I mean, god knows why I started this, because I’ve realized it is going to take me hours, if not days! 😂 . . I had quite a strong vision of what I wanted - bold, graphic, organic shapes, reflecting the plant paintings I’ve already done and picking up on the leaves of the big banana plant in my bedroom, but I just couldn’t quite get it. So I went onto insta and Pinterest for inspiration and there I found the most incredible artwork by linneaandast - and I knew that that was exactly what I’d been trying to formulate. So, on a wing and a prayer I messaged her yesterday to ask if I could paint something very similar in my hallway and she said YES!!
