I seem to be on a yellow roll at the moment - maybe it’s because I’m holding on to any sunshine I can get before we fall headlong into Winter! . Anyway, this is back in my bedroom, trying a completely different colour scheme, contrasting bright yellow with a smokey smudgey old rose colour, which has a hint of lilac (I realise this is sounding more like perfume or wine than an interior!). Of course, yellow and purple are a classic pairing, being opposite sides of the colour wheel, but I think it’s only when you knock one of them right back (in this case to the smudgey dirty lilac) that you get something really beautiful. I just love how warm and welcoming this feels. . . What do you think? Yay or Nay? . . CREDITS . Desk - loaned by loafhome. . Cocktail chair - loaned by loafhome. . Rug - loaned by ptolemymann.rugs. .
