I absolutely love styling photo shoots, but repainting the walls several times is partly why my flat ended up in so much chaos during this one for my latest collection! I think this particular wall, in the ‘office’ corner of my bedroom was painted 3 times! It was worth it though, because I absolutely love the contrast of the muted blue of the wall colour behind the bright sunshiny yellow of the lamp. Then you get an incredible photographer like Timothy Soar, who is a light magician, making the whole thing almost look like a little Dutch masters painting. . So big question .... yellow has gone through lots of waves of love in interiors, but it can induce quite strong reactions of love or hate from people .... so who here loves yellow or hates it and why? . .
