After I painted the Blue Jay design for rubicon_3_sailing’s adventure sailing yacht last year, so many people asked if I could make it into lampshades and cushions. Well, the full bird didn’t really work on a lampshade (although it looks amazing on a velvet bolster, which I’ll show you soon!), so I focused on the wing feathers instead, which work so much better and make a rather unusual lampshade, which I love!
