Have woken up with very sore legs this morning, from running in the mother’s race at my kids’ school sports day yesterday! So many parents entered that we actually had 3 races - mums, dads and somehow I ended up in the middle group of mixed moms and dads. And had to run in bare feet, because I had come quite unprepared in flip flops. Needless to say, I didn’t win. My boy told me with much glee that I was fifth last. Actually that meant I was also 7th from first, which wasn’t so bad, given that it was against the dads too! . . Our Beak Street in Dove lampshades are now on sale at 30% off in our shop!
