#tbt to one of my favorite meals on my most recent visit to Japan! It’s a legendary local spot in Toyohashi (Aichi prefecture) called Isejis (Google it if you’re actually ever in the area) and they specialize in okonomiyaki. I lived in Toyohashi for two years and ate here all of the time. Literally nothing has changed since I was last there 16 years ago. Even the same lady who cooked all the food then cooked it the day I went! I wrote out a note on Google translate to the lady before I left thanking her for all the great meals and for always being so nice to me and my friends years ago. Who knows when I’ll ever be back, but it was an amazing lunch and walk down memory lane ❤️ #toyohashi #japan #aichi #okonomiyaki
