When you are grieving, burned out, or regretting a decision, the damage may feel permanent. It’s hard to think that things will ever be the same.
Healing isn’t about pretending that pain doesn’t exist. It’s about whom we lean on while we carry it.
The Savior has the power to make our burdens light. He promises, “I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs… I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions” (Mosiah 24:14).
Christ takes our heaviest heartaches and makes us strong enough to carry them with ease and peace.
