Sam was the older brother of the prophet Nephi, described as a “just and holy” man (Alma 3:6). After Nephi shared important truths he learned from the Holy Spirit, Sam believed quickly and listened to Nephi and their father, Lehi, as they asked the family to depart from Jerusalem. While it would have been easy for Sam to dismiss the revelations of his younger brother, he provides a good example of finding spiritual leadership and instruction even in unlikely places. How has trusting the Holy Ghost helped you find wisdom in your life in places where you didn’t expect it? #TheBookfOfMormon #FeastUponTheWord
