This Christmas season, we remember the most joyous gift the Lord has given us: Jesus Christ. It was foretold that “a prophet would the Lord God raise up among the Jews—even a Messiah, or, in other words, a Savior of the world” (1 Nephi 10:4). His birth was only the beginning of His earthly mission to teach, heal, and atone for the sins of the world. He continues to bring light, life, and hope to all who would follow Him.
