The gift of the Holy Ghost is one of the most special gifts Heavenly Father can give to His children, and we receive it through baptism and confirmation. This is a gift we can benefit from throughout our lives. In 3 Nephi 28:11 we read, “And the Holy Ghost beareth record of the Father and me; and the Father giveth the Holy Ghost unto the children of men.” This scripture testifies of the Holy Ghost’s role in leading us to truth. He bears witness of truth in intimate and personal ways. He testifies of Jesus Christ, of the Father, and of who we truly are: beloved sons and daughters of God.
