As children of God, we need to exercise and grow our faith in Jesus Christ. Think of it like building spiritual muscles! 💪 When we exercise our faith, we gain the strength to overcome or bear the trials in our lives. In the Book of Mormon, Alma and Amulek faced intense persecution and were even thrown into prison. But despite their hardships, they didn’t give up. They trusted in the Lord, and because of their unwavering faith, “the Lord had granted unto them power, according to their faith which was in Jesus Christ” (Alma 14:28). Their story shows us that when we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we too can receive the power we need to endure and overcome any challenge.
