Sometimes we may feel lost or confused about our purpose in life. We may wonder why we have to face certain trials or challenges. We may not know everything that God has planned for us, but we can know, as Nephi does in 1 Nephi 11:17, that God “loveth His children.” He has a perfect plan for each of us, and our Savior Jesus Christ is central to that plan. God wants us to be happy and return to Him someday. So while we may not know the meaning of all things, we can learn to grow one step at a time and become more like Him each day.
