The six NASA astronauts living and working aboard the International Space Station have been busy researching ways to improve life for humans on and off the Earth. From growing plants in space for consumption, studying stem cells for potential cancer treatments, to understanding how exercising in weightlessness affects the muscles and bones, the astronauts have been providing scientists results and insights only possible in the microgravity environment. The three Roscosmos cosmonauts aboard the station also have been conducting numerous science investigations contributing to the vast array of knowledge gained from studying biology, physics, technology, and more in space.
