More than 8,200 pounds of supplies and science arrived to the station. After nearly two days in orbit, Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus spacecraft was captured by NASA astronaut Loral O’Hara along with NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli as backup, using the station’s Canadarm2 robotic arm (shown in video here) at 4:59 a.m. EST. Mission controllers in Houston then took over command and remotely installed Cygnus on the Unity module’s Earth-facing port at 7:14 a.m. #nasa #international #space #station #cygnus #spacecraft #spacefreighter #northropgrumman #science #research #orbiting #laboratory
