Ever wanted to ask questions to the astronauts aboard the space station? Hundreds of thousands of students have had that chance over the past two decades as part of the space station downlinks program! Benefit 6: The ability to inspire the next generation by connecting communities worldwide with the space station. In-flight education downlinks connect students with astronauts living and working in space for a question-and-answer session. Other student opportunities include launching experiments to the station, running code on the orbiting lab’s computers, and deploying satellites from station. You can use Spot the Station from the comfort of your home to track as it passes over your neighborhood. You can also connect to the orbiting lab through ham radio, story time with astronauts, and live streams. The International Space Station is a worldwide project bringing all of humanity along for the ride! #SpaceStation #STEM #ISS #Students #Education #SpottheStation #SpaceExploration #ham...
