In the words of one student from Mississippi State University: “The summer book study on Jean-Pierre Torrell, OP's "Saint Thomas Aquinas Vol 1: The Person and His Work”... was a success! It was a great introduction to Aquinas' commentaries and the differences between the Summa contra Gentiles and the Summa theologiae. We also explored his commentaries and parts of the Summa when they were referenced in the chapters.” If you'd like to hear about TI events, like this reading group, happening in your area, subscribe to our newsletter and choose which local TI chapter you want to receive updates about! #ThomisticInstitute #aquinas #Aquinas101 #bookstudy #SummaTheologiae #Summa #Eucharist #DivineOffice #Liturgy #CatholicFaith #CatholicTeaching #SacredScripture #SpiritualGrowth #CatholicEducation #CatholicTheology
