Sir Patrick O’Greene , born January 1, 2007 and took his last breath today, May 21, 2020. In recent weeks and months he had suffered loss of eyesight, hearing and was suffering from some dementia. For two months I postponed the inevitable and today I sat with him under the care of Dr. Belue here at home. Pat enjoyed long walkabouts off leash and without permission. One time ending up in the custody of Montgomery Animal Control. He also enjoyed camping, creeks and rivers, good barbecue and long drives with the window down. He never met a stranger, lived life never hurting a squirrel, bunny or Andrew’s per hamster. He was a lover and was never a barker. For that we are thankful. Born to two show dogs, Pat never worried about appearances. Sported a beard and bangs and was as comfy on the couch or lying by the campfire. He is missed already.
