The crew told us the amount of gratitude that they received from the residents of the two towns affected by the #CranstonFire and #RibbonFire was overwhelming. They were getting hugs and sodas and invitations to dinner. The residents told stories of themselves thinking that they had lost everything. It was humbling and an honor for our crews to serve our neighbors in #California and represent #Mesa and #Arizona. #firefighter #wildfire #wilderness mayorgiles cityofmesa
