👨‍🚒👩‍🚒Backing up our brothers and sisters in blue 👮👮‍♀️.....The Fire Department Tactical SWAT Medic is able to provide faster medical care for the suspect and SWAT members. In dicey situations, such as when treating gunshot wounds, seconds mean everything. When the danger of being shot at is high, a tactical medic can move in with the SWAT team to treat a patient immediately. Tactical medics go through the same extensive training each month as SWAT officers. While medics don’t carry guns, they wear full SWAT gear and train with firearms in case they need to back up an officer or protect themselves. #police #swat #swatmedic #tacticalmedic #firefighter #paramedic #sistersinblue #brothersinblue #instagram #medic #mesa #arizonafirefighters #training #medicaltreatment #partnerships #mesapolice #policegear #specialweaponsandtactics #gotyourback #helmet #gear
