All smiles because tonight I was honored as one of the Change Makers of the year from 10kdegrees - Because of this amazing organization I can say I am the first in my family to go to and graduate from college - and on a full scholarship!! I'm super grateful that this award not only comes with $500 for me, but an additional $500 for the non-profit of my choice, which I would like to donate to hiphop4change . . I appreciate that I have been able to use my skills as a Hip Hop artist and public speaker to collaborate with 10KD and raise OVER $5 MILLION DOLLARS towards helping first-generatiom, low-income students become one degree like I did!! I've been able to use my curriculum development skills to educate the next generation of students as well as advance in my professional career.
