In this week's episode of #TuesdaysLit I'm featuring another autobiography. This time it's ANGIE MARTINEZ'S "MY VOICE". Y'all know I love Hip Hop, so this book was a treasure because Angie talks about her relationships with a lot of well known artists, including Tupac. A scene that struck me is when she was getting backlash from her boyfriend for going to Cali to cover perhaps the biggest interview of her career - Tupac's side of the East Coast/West Coast rilvary. Both her and Tiffany Haddish show the challenges ambitious women have in balancing their professional careers with romantic relationships. I appreciate how open and relatable they are.
