Not sure how I feel about Miss America 2.0... I’ve been trying to gather my thoughts over the past day and look at it from both sides. All I know is that this was one of the most empowering moments in my life. I learned so much about discipline and motivation from the swimsuit competition. I also learned more about living a healthy lifestyle. Habits I formed through this portion of competition have stuck with me now 4 years later. I have continued a healthy and fit lifestyle because during my time at Miss America I got a taste of how good it feels to be in shape both physically and mentally. I’m sad that other girls to come won’t get to experience what I did.
