"I transferred to UCSD after being online for two years due to COVID. I was scared, stressed, nervous, and lost. I felt like I was a toddler learning how to walk again. After Fall quarter, I started my small business and began my career in photography. How can one jump from one extreme to another like that? Through the support, guidance, and constant encouragement I found on campus from my peers and Professors/TAs. Professor Sepuya paulsepuya was the reason I fell in love with photography. What built on it was the love and support throughout the Visual Arts Program that allowed me to feel at home. UCSD was a breath of fresh air for an artist who was lost and struggling to find their voice. As that artist, I say goodbye to this beautiful campus, and it's countless opportunities it provided me. Thank you for the best two years I could've imagined!" - Jessy S., Fourth-Year from Sixth College, Club President, Business owner, and First-Gen Student 🔱 💙
