It is also home to a large number of towers, none quite as special as Guinigi Tower. I’ve seen and photographed many iconic towers in numerous cities but I can honestly say this one is that little bit more special thanks to the flora that adorns the top. We scaled a nearby tower in the hope of being able to view the tower from afar. It was worth the climb to the stop. An intriguing sight from a truly wonderful city."
