FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE WEEK “My wife and I love to travel and in late 2018, we decided to explore Italy by train with our 1 year old son on his first trip to the country. We visited some beautiful cities but a personal favourite was the city of Venice. As a keen photographer, the city is bursting with photogenic scenes. My goal on the trip was to try and capture some of the iconic elements of the city (the canals and the gondoliers) in new and interesting ways. One afternoon, standing on the famous Rialto Bridge, I happened to look down as a gondola passed beneath us. The interesting composition of the letter X, made up by the oar and the gondola caught my eye.
