Blizzard Entertainment’s “Diablo IV” just became the gaming company’s fastest-selling game ever.
Over its first five days, the game raked in $666 million. Fitting for a game named after the Devil.
It’s some good news for the company as its parent, Activision, remains in a state of flux over its pending deal with Microsoft.
Earlier this week, the FTC sued in federal court to block Microsoft’s acquisition of the company, while in April, the UK blocked the acquisition entirely.
