All elevated train stations in Chicago’s Loop will be closed this weekend as crews complete major track repairs at Wells and Lake streets. The closures will affect Brown, Green, Orange and Pink Line service starting at 4 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, through 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26. The Red and Blue lines will continue operating. Brown Line will still operate between Kimball and the Merchandise Mart, with shuttle buses replacing that service between the Merchandise Mart and the Harold Washington Library, according to the agency. Trains on the Orange Line will operate between Midway Airport and Roosevelt, with shuttle buses operating between Roosevelt and Clinton. #cta #weekend #chicago #transit
