A former suburban cat clinic manager shot and killed his elderly parents, 22-year-old son and longtime girlfriend before turning the gun on himself, Mundelein police said. All five were found dead inside a home Sunday night after a concerned relative requested a welfare check.
Authorities are still investigating a possible motive.
