For decades, America's first ladies have made India an essential global visit. Melania Trump will get her turn when she visits the country with her husband, President Donald Trump. For Michelle Obama, the 2010 trip she took with President Barack Obama proved one of the first times a global audience recognized her informal, down-to-earth nature. Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, Barbara Bush, Rosalynn Carter and Pat Nixon also made notable trips to the country. Kennedy, opting instead to make it a girls' trip with her sister, Lee Radziwill. 📸: AP/Getty Images/Bettmann Archive Link in bio 📲to read more. #Firstladies #india #melaniatrump #whitehouse #travel #washingtondc #politics
