US President Donald Trump visited the Suresnes American Cemetery, just outside Paris, to pay his respects to the thousands of American soldiers who died in World War I. “It is our duty to preserve the civilization they defended and secure the peace they so nobly gave their lives for one century ago,” Trump said in his speech. Paying tribute to the French and American soldiers who fought side-by-side, Trump said, “You cannot fight better than we fought together.” 📸Saul Loeb/Getty Images #PresidentDonaldTrump #DonaldTrump #Trump #ArmisticeDay #armistice100 #ArmisticeDay100 #WWI100 #Suresnes #Paris #france
