An LBJ School alumna made history last week at the #RNC, and tonight an LBJ School alumna addresses the #DNC. We’re home to movers, shakers and policy entrepreneurs. Georgia House Minority Leader and an LBJ School class of 1997 graduate, Stacey Abrams (D-Atlanta), will address the Democratic National Convention during Monday night’s opening session, prior to speeches by First Lady michelleobama and Senator berniesanders. No stranger to leadership, Abrams is the first woman to lead either party in the Georgia General Assembly and is the first African-American to lead in the House of Representatives. 🎥 WATCH her remarks tonight at 5:30 PM CT on CSPAN’s DNC coverage: bit.ly/SAbramsDNC. #dems #demsinphilly #dnc #dnc2016 #leader #leadership
