Our first stop in Rajasthan is “Patwon ki Haweli” in Jaisalmer. (5-storey mansion with traditional architecture). We marvelled at all the intricate designs that they carved in the stone by hand. They dedicated 12 years of hard work to complete just one mansion. 60 years in total. Using the local yellow stone for all their buildings is how this city was given the name, the golden city. #india #rajasthan #goldencity
