Owing to its eye-catching paintjob, the Porsche 917/20 – better known as the ‘Pink Pig’ – was all set to be a fast-track entrance into the Porsche pantheon.    Whilst not at first well-known for its racing capabilities, the Pink Pig is renowned for its iconic appearance. Designed by Anatole Lapine and Richard Soderberg, the butcher’s diagram livery represented a visual flamboyance not yet witnessed in the aesthetics of Le Mans.   Love it or hate it, the Pink Pig’s fabulous outer shell captured fans’ attention like no other. #917/20 #PinkPig #Classic #PorscheMotorsport #PorscheMuseum
