Amongst all the positives of last week, and there were lots, yesterday this happened to our family and my heart did break. If anyone wants even a tiny glimpse into what it’s like being a SEND parent, this is it. If you’re not constantly fighting the system for your child’s basic human rights, like access to education or medicine, then it’s dealing with sh*t like this. 😔 My husband Saman articulates it really well, SWIPE ➡️➡️➡️ so I don’t need to add much, except that it hurt, a lot 💔 Parenting is hard. Parenting a child with additional needs is bloody hard. But we do our best. As mobsters we know this, and that’s why I bloody love this community. Thank you to all the amazing neighbours who did reach out - I know lots of you follow us on here- and to all those of you in the community who have spoken up and just get it - thank you for your support, honestly it means the absolute world. ❤️ #autismawareness #sendfamily
