Hi all, I’m G, cofounder of the MOB 👋 and as some of you may know I’m a SEN mum - aka mum to Freddie who is autistic and non verbal and cognitively delayed. Lots doubt his potential and sadly I spend most days as his PR agent trying to silence the sceptics and show others how inspirational and incredible he really is - even if that’s in his own (often misunderstood) unique way! So this post is to remind anyone who needs to hear it - to embrace the power within you and silence the voices that whisper ‘you can’t.’ It’s not always easy to do this but try to remember that your journey is guided by your own convictions, not the limitations others perceive. Freddie reminds us of this often and today was a great example. He skied! (Not alone but with his dad supporting him, but for us this is HUGE). To say we were proud today is a huge understatement.
