Mobsters, today I had zero inspo for half term activities (know the feeling?)…. But my disorganisation led us to being a tourist for the day in our home city, London, which actually turned out to be epic. Following (chasing) my autistic son Freddie from landmark to landmark, as he found joy in the simplest of things: watching the waves on the water and boats on the river; taking the @thamesclippers up to Battersea and charging around the newly renovated @batterseapwrstn (a sensory-seeking kid, like Freddie’s idea of heaven). Rushing around Battersea Park, and up to the Kings Road for ice cream before heading back home on the tube (also a fave activity for F.) It was a totally random, spontaneous day that was super cheap (we literally only paid for travel tickets and ice cream because we brought our own lunch and snacks), that Freddie (and us), really enjoyed. I just now need a large glass of wine and a foot massage to help me recover from all the walking…. 🍷😴
P.S Freddie’s sweatshir...
