This Time Next Year
Minnie Cooper has lived her whole life knowing 2 things:
1. Her name should have been Quinn
2. New Years Eve through New Years Day(her birthday) are her worst days of every year
This book takes us through a year with Minnie Cooper and Quinn Hamilton(the name stealer) and all their missed chance encounters over the years.
I read this whole book in a day. Minnie sometimes makes mistakes and hurts feelings of the people she loves, she isn't always on top of her finances, her business could run smoother but she owns up to it and tries to be better(even if it takes her a little while to get there). I just loved the reality of all that, things don't always work out, but we just got to do the best we can. Quinn is incredibly likable with a good heart. You feel for him, for his sacrifices, and this is a good story that shows you that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
This is a book of love, friendship,...
