What an PHENOMENAL book. This is writing at its best, and I was instantly drawn in by the story of the Vignes twins, and those that loved them. (Also, the audiobook is incredible!)🌿 . This is the story of race and identity, and exploring the choice of hiding who you truly are or choosing to own your truth, regardless of the consequences. Written in lulling prose and with a voice that speaks truth, this novel begs the question: what kind of life can you have if you aren’t fully truthful with who you are?
