"I live in these flip flops! I have flat feet and was told I can “NEVER” wear flip flops again because I ALWAYS need to be wearing my custom shoe inserts. Without them, I have foot cramps, leg pain, and back problems from misalignment. I work full-time at a pool as a swim instructor/lifeguard/swim coach combo. “No flip flops” just wasn’t going to cut it for me. When I first bought these, I immediately bought two pairs. They pinched my skin even after 2 or 3 days of wear, and I was about to be pretty mad!! Customer service told me to manually pull on the straps to stretch them a bit (I have wide feet). Worked like a CHARM and now I have owned the same 2 pairs for almost 2 years and they look and feel BRAND NEW!! No strap breakage or tearing. They may have stretched out a bit over heavy use for 2 years, so they “flop” a bit more than they used to, but I can’t even get 2 years of use out of my gym sneakers, let alone flip flops!
