Happy THON Thursday! We asked Alumni member Perri, one of our dancers for THON 2013, why she THONs. "I THON because cancer has had a direct impact on my family. My mother is a 10-year Breast Cancer survivor. I THON so that no family member ever has to hear that a loved one has cancer. The kids look to up to us, but in fact, they are our heroes and are so inspiring. It was an absolute honor being able to represent the Lionettes at THON 2013 and I would do anything to stand for 46 with my sisters again! One day, we will dance in celebration.
