Away day sorrow ... La Tamponnaise traveled from Réunion to France in a nearly 20,000 km round trip to play RC Pays de Grasse in the Coupe de France, but lost 1-0. It is the continuation of a tradition that has allowed clubs playing in France's overseas territories to compete in the Coupe de France. Clubs from Mayotte, Réunion, Martinique, Guadeloupe and Tahiti among others have participated in the competition.
