All smiles 😃 Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow leave the field after both of their unbeaten centuries helped England to a record Test run chase against India on Tuesday. Root finished with 142 runs while Bairstow finished with 114 — continuing his extraordinary run of form — to help England reach the 378 needed at Edgbaston to beat India. It levels the five-game series at 2-2. It is England’s record run chase in Test cricket and the ninth largest in the history of the game. . . . #england #india #englandcricket #joeroot #jonnybairstow #testcricket #indiacricket (📷 Getty Images/Gareth Copley)
