AT LONG LAST! There will be a new Ladies SF champion in Monaghan for the first time since 2002 as magheracloonemitchellsgfc got the better of their nemesis Donaghmoyne in the county semi-final on Saturday. The standard bearers in Monaghan for so long, #Donaghmoyne had an incredible record since they started reeling off title after title in their home county. Since getting to their first Ulster final in 2004 they contested 18 finals in a row up to 2022 (2020 cancelled) winning 14, and going on to reach 7 All Ireland finals, winning 5 in 2006/09/12/15/16. Magheracloone will now face the winners of Emmet Óg and Emyvale with all three sides knowing they have a chance not seen for a generation. 📸 Magheracloone/Facebook #LGFA #Monaghan
