"Managing the sleep & the time change when going to the East Coast. We majorly screwed up & learned from it." Full presser: youtu.be/6curGwHIa-s I asked Stanford Volleyball Head Coach Kevin Hambly what he learned from year 1 in the ACC. Very honest assessment! ___ Stanford volleyball coach Kevin Hambly and players Elia Rubin and Julia Blyashov share their excitement ahead of the AVCA First Serve Showcase. With a young roster and just three upperclassmen, the team is eager to compete against top programs like Nebraska. Coach Kevin talks about managing travel, sleep, and time changes while keeping the players fresh for competition. Julia and Elia emphasize the importance of growth, presence on the court, and embracing the exposure that comes with playing on big stages. The team sees this event as a learning opportunity, preparing them for the speed and intensity of the Pac-12 season, while enjoying the chance to focus solely on volleyball. #avca #avcafirstserve #cardinals...
