As I settle into living in Florida to pursue my dream of becoming a Sportscaster in the Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting @fullsailuniversity, I want to explore local and regional favorite places to go, see, and eat! Mary and I were recommended to visit the Harry Leu Gardens. The Leu Gardens is an amazing botanical oasis nearly 50 acres just minutes from Downtown Orlando. Each garden is designed specifically to further its mission: inspire visitors to appreciate and understand plants. The garden and historical home were deeded to the City of Orlando in 1961 by Mr. Harry P. Leu and his wife, Mary Jane. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will 100% be going back. This is a fun vlog episode this week! We will get back to the school content in the coming weeks. This is important though for when you move somewhere for a job (as a reporter) to get to know the local community's top places!
