There’s nothing like father-son bonding time! I'm grateful to have had the time with my dad! We spent a Wednesday afternoon in southern california at Whiting Ranch Red Rock Canyon in the foothills of Orange County! We enjoy what most people do here... Whiting Ranch Hiking: Red Rock Canyon! The gently climbing trail makes its way up an oak woodland canyon, eventually ending in a smooth red rock canyon like you’d see in Arizona (but unique to Orange County). Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park is rich with wildlife. It is definitely mountain lion country, but we didn't see any (luckily as much as I wanted to...) It is a bit dead right now due to the fires last summer, but you can tell nature is reviving and coming back! Enjoy this video showing the start of the trail up the red rock canyon and back!
