Recently, our Child Advocacy Studies program arranged an opportunity for students to attend the Bon Secours 6th Annual Human Trafficking Seminar.
By deepening their awareness and understanding of human trafficking, these students are better equipped to make a meaningful impact in their future careers.
Jodie Martin, Director, Center for Child Advocacy Studies, shared her enthusiasm of the seminar, "I'm incredibly proud of those who rose early to participate in this fantastic event. Our students are the leaders who will drive change for a brighter future."
It is up to us, as a University, to keep educating, advocating and working together to bring hope to those who need it most. If you do suspect someone you have met is being trafficked, you can call The National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888. ๐
