✨ Upstate Magazine Highlight: Tracey Woodard, an accomplished associate professor of criminal justice at USC Upstate. ✨ ⚖️ Despite having a successful career in IT management, Woodard made the bold decision to pursue a graduate degree in her 30s. Her doctorate in philosophy, with a focus on criminology and criminal justice, has greatly influenced her teaching style at USC Upstate, where she values the recognition of first-generation students. 📣 She explains, "Teaching at a university like ours, with a small student-to-teacher ratio, allows us to truly connect with and relate to our students. I hope that this connection helps them feel more at ease and comfortable in their academic journey." 💚 To read more about Tracey's journey, follow the link in our bio and click on the Upstate Magazine Online. #USCUpstate #UpstateBound #Highlights #Professor #CriminalJustice #SpartanburgSC #HigherEducation #FirstGeneration
